Facilitate the maintenance and repair of a particular area of ??the bottom of the railcars. An advanced and innovative process, with an ergonomic, effective and safety shape.
The aim is boring "in situ" the exact area and repair without having to dismantle the reducing system and the axes of the wagon, to insert subsequently bushes to return the mechanism to its original state.
The new fixture concept improves the maintenance process at a lower cost of disassembly and reassembly of the train, shortening downtime and facilitating manipulation by operators.
Different phases to place boring units and insert bushes:
Phase 1: Removing screws from the gearbox for subsequent placement of centering bolts.
Phase 2: Placement and clamping of centering bolts to position the support
Phase 3: Placement and clamping of fixture support plate.
Phase 4: Fixing Dock-Lock block (fast clamp) in support plate.
Phase 5: Placement and clamping of boring unit on the Dock-Lock block.
Phase 6: Detaching boring unit and replace by bush unit.
